- Frequently asked questions
Curious about my services or how to prepare for your appointment? Here are some common questions we might have the answer for.
How long does a Lash Lift last and is a tint included?
A lash lift typically lasts between 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash cycle and aftercare.
To maintain healthy, lifted lashes, we recommend using a tubular mascara, which can be gently removed with just water — avoiding harsh cleansers that may break down the lift and cause lashes to drop prematurely.
Keep your lashes nourished and strong between treatments with the Modelrock Lash Growth Serum. Yes, A lash dye is included as part of the service, with the option to tint either the top lashes only or both top and bottom for added depth and definition. The tint typically lasts 4–6 weeks on the lashes, depending on your aftercare and daily routine
Lash Lift and Brow Lamination aftercare
First 24–48 Hours
- Avoid water, steam, saunas, and excessive heat.
- Do not apply makeup, mascara, or brow products.
- Refrain from touching, rubbing, or sleeping directly on your lashes or brows.
- Avoid oily products or cleansers around the treated area.
Ongoing Care
- Keep lashes and brows hydrated daily using a nourishing serum or oil (we recommend our Modelrock Lash Growth Serum).
- Avoid waterproof mascara and oil-based removers, as they can weaken the lift or lamination.
- Brush brows and lashes gently each morning to maintain shape and direction.
- Schedule your next appointment every 6–8 weeks to maintain results.
How frequently can I get a Brow Lamination & Lash Lift?
For the health and integrity of your brows and lashes, we recommend spacing appointments appropriately. Lash lifts cannot be performed within 8 weeks of your previous lift, and brow laminations cannot be done within 6 weeks of your last treatment. This ensures optimal results and maintains the strength and condition of your natural hairs
How do I get my brow or lash dye to last longer?
To prolong the life of your brow or lash tint, avoid using oil-based cleansers, makeup removers, or skincare products on the area for the first 24–48 hours after your appointment. Minimise rubbing or exfoliating the treated area, and avoid excessive heat, swimming, or steam for the same period. Following these simple aftercare steps will help your tint stay vibrant for longer.
Can I get waxing done if I use Vitamin A or other active ingredients?
For your safety and to protect your skin, we recommend avoiding Vitamin A, retinol, or other strong active ingredients on the area to be waxed for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. Using these products too close to your waxing service can increase sensitivity, irritation, or skin damage. If you are currently using active skincare, please let us know before your appointment so we can advise and plan your treatment safely.
Do you offer Sunday Appointments?
Sunday bookings are available by request and will be quoted individually. A minimum of 2 clients is required for in-studio appointments and a minimum of 3 clients is required for on-location services.
Do you travel for Makeup Applications?
Yes, I travel for makeup services for groups of three or more. Whether it’s a bridal party, special event, or professional photoshoot, I bring the same attention to detail and luxury experience as an in-studio session, all in the comfort of your chosen location.
How should I arrive to my Makeup Appointment?
Please arrive with a freshly cleansed face, free of any skincare products or mascara. If you’d like a body glow applied, wear something that exposes your décolletage. We also recommend wearing clothing that doesn’t need to be pulled over your head to avoid disturbing your makeup. Bringing reference photos or inspiration is helpful, but not required as we’ll discuss your preferences during the session to create a look tailored perfectly to you.
Do you recommend a Bridal Trial?
Yes, I highly recommend a bridal trial. The trial allows extra time to discuss your desired look for your big day in detail. I document every product and technique used in your personal file, and I follow up the next day to get your feedback on how it wore and whether you’d like any adjustments. This ensures that on your wedding day, you can feel calm and confident knowing your makeup will be flawless.
Do you travel for Destination Weddings?
Yes, I do. Depending on the location, clients are asked to cover the cost of flights and a minimum of 2–3 nights’ accommodation (depending on timezone and flight schedule), as well as travel insurance for domestic or international weddings. This ensures I can bring the same level of personalised, stress-free service to your chosen location.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment, or no-shows, will incur a fee of 50% of the total appointment cost. For more details please read my Terms & Conditions.
